The City of Santa Ana is collaborating on a number efforts to promote Complete Streets that provide safe, convenient access for all users including motorists, bicyclists, transit operators and users, and pedestrians of all ages and abilities. Join in helping the City of Santa Ana create streets that are safe and convenient for all travelers through participating in these efforts:
- Central Santa Ana Complete Streets Plan community engagement kicked off in April 2016 and is intended to provide guidance on bikeway and pedestrian improvements to connect Central Santa Ana to nearby activity areas and destinations.
- Downtown Transit Zone Complete Street Plan is now available for review, and includes recommendations for new bikeways networks and streetscape designs to connect the community to the downtown through Active Transportation.
- Santa Ana General Plan Circulation Element Update will identify a new policy Vision for mobility and complete streets in Santa Ana. The Circulation Element Update will include policies and programs to implement the new Vision including a new bikeway and pedestrian network plan, street calming measures, and other key recommendations from the Draft Santa Ana Safe Mobility Plan.
