Executive Orders

On March 17, 2020, the Santa Ana City Council declared a local emergency due to COVID-19. This resolution gave the City Manager the ability to implement certain executive orders as needed to ensure public health and safety and the continued operation of the City during the pandemic. As the director of emergency services for the City of Santa Ana, the City Manager has the ability to implement certain executive orders to preserve public order and safety.
