The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center (SARTC), also known as The Depot, is the focal point of transportation in Orange County. It combines Amtrak, Metrolink, Orange County Transit Authority, intercity and interstate bus transportation, and airport and taxi services all in one location. The SARTC is close to five freeways and only minutes from the Orange County airport, Disneyland, MainPlace Mall, Bowers Museum, the 
Civic Center complex and the Downtown historical district.
In addition, the Santa Ana WORK Center is located within the SARTC. The WORK Center combines energy and resources from various agencies to provide integrated job and workforce development services, including job search assistance, employee referrals and placement, unemployment insurance filing, and career counseling.
This beautifully designed 47,000 square-foot Mediterranean building is located on seven acres of land and includes a five-story theme tower. Unique features such as a cooling three-tiered fountain, tile-paved pedestrian arcades, a spectacular entry rotunda, a three-story domed translucent ceiling, and sweeping monumental stairways complement the facility. In addition, the SARTC has conference rooms, a covered four-story parking structure and a new pedestrian bridge that marries the east platform to the rest of the facility.
On the main floor, guests can relax in the inviting lobby area or the handsomely landscaped courtyard. The lobby's decorative tile accents, hand-carved wooden benches, imported stone floors and impressive coffered ceiling impart a Mediterranean atmosphere.
Outside the SARTC, ceramic tile roofs, paved walkways and Spanish-style lighting continue to set the historical mood. Monumental stairways cascade from the upper floors that include patios and observation platforms. Extensive exterior landscaping throughout the facility also adds to the distinctive old world flavor that is part of the one hundred plus years heritage of Santa Ana.
