Claims Unit processes
claims from City of Santa Ana employees
who
have been injured on
the job. Employees
must report injuries
to their supervisors
immediately, and
may wish to inform
the Workers' Compensation
Claims Unit at

who are not City of
Santa Ana employees
but have been injured
on the job may contact

information on workers'
compensation. The City
of Santa Ana has a
self-insured workers'
compensation program.
The Risk Management Division's
Loss Control Unit prevents losses
to the City of Santa
Ana such as employee
injury, injury to the public,
and equipment
and property loss. Prevention
programs include employee
safety training, hazard identification,
risk control, and health
monitoring
programs. Individuals are
encouraged to report
conditions that are possibly
dangerous
(potholes, downed power
lines, inoperable traffic lights,
etc.)
