The Benefits and Compensation Division contracts with the California Public Employees Retirement System to provide medical insurance to fulltime and part-time civil service employees. City-Labor contracts provide a complete description of the benefits available to City employees, including:

Salary Administration
The Benefits and Compensation Division administers salary and payroll provisions to ensure that employees are compensated correctly. Salary Schedule includes separate tables for employees in fulltime, part-time, administrative management, Fire management, middle management, and executive management job classifications.
