Residential enforcement is comprised of three sections:

The Proactive Enforcement Team conducts door-to-door inspections of property maintenance violations they observe in designated neighborhood areas.  They also monitor the Mobile Vending Vehicles.

The Proactive Rental Enforcement Program inspects all residential rental properties in the City.

The Residential Response Team investigates complaints alleging substandard housing conditions, property maintenance violations, and land use violations occurring on residential properties.  They also investigate illegal pedestrian vending violations in residential neighborhoods.

The Commercial Response Team investigates:

Zoning and sign violations on the major arterials throughout commercial and industrial areas.

Uniform Code violations when a complaint alleges substandard and unpermitted work violations, and improper tenancy and occupancy issues on commercial and industrial properties.

Inoperative Vehicle violations on private property throughout the City.
