Grants
The Santa and Public Library and the Orange County Chapter of Reforma are working together to design a comprehensive program to introduce teens and college-age children of foreign-born parents to librarianship as a career, and provide them with a path to successfully pursue that career.
Volunteer opportunities will cultivate and develop skills in young adults that can be leveraged into marketable professional and educational skills.
The program will pursue this goal via two paths. The first path will provide technology-based educational and workforce-preparation,the second path will encourage civic engagement in older young adults.
