The Santa Ana Public Library Technology Department showcased our commitment to engaging Santa Ana in technology and STEM principles during the summer of 2016 in accordance to the 5-Year City Strategic Plan. The Santa Ana Summer Tech Institute was held at the Main Library, Garfield Community Center and Newhope Library. We featured our Video Production, 3D Printing and CS First Gaming courses!
The Summer Tech Institute was open to all ages from June 27th, 2016 – August 3rd, 2016. Every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 3:00-5:00pm Santa Ana residents learned about producing videos, printing in 3D and designing video games!
We want to inspire our community to engage with and explore innovative technologies. The Summer Tech Institute was a great way to introduce 3D, video and gaming technology to Santa Ana library users!
