Santa Ana-based Powerwave Technologies has completed an underground coverage project for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. The firm's platform now delivers uninterrupted access to wireless voice and data services throughout the transit agency's Orange like platforms and tunnels.

The stars of the Santa Ana Zoo's latest exhibit have been getting to know one other, exploring their new digs - and, yes, grubbing for ants.
The $1.1-million exhibit will take visitors into the South American grasslands when it opens on April 17. There they'll see giant birds known as rheas, wild llama relatives known as guanacos and - shuffling along on their front knuckles - two giant anteaters.

The Santa Ana Zoo in Prentice Park is pleased to announce the birth of a white-faced saki monkey (Pithecia pithecia) on the 13th of February, 2010. The proud parents are Dakota and Aaliyah. The yet to be named baby is the fifth offspring of this pair. Mom, dad and baby along with the siblings can be found at home in the rainforest exhibit at the zoo.

Over the next three months, 85 business operators are taking part in Helping 100 Businesses For 100 Days developed by the city and OPIS Network to provide Santa Ana businesses the strategies and resources needed to remain competitive and succeed.
