Leadership Santa Ana - Training Tools and Tips

Leadership Santa Ana (LSA) is a collaboration between Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange County, Orange County Human Relations Commission, Leadership Plenty and the City of Santa Ana, which partnered to design a six-month training program that would incorporate different community-building strategies and tools for existing and emerging neighborhood association leaders to understand and improve the capacity of their neighborhood association. The Leadership Santa Ana (LSA) training builds upon the Leadership Plenty training program offered to Santa Ana residents in 2003 as the new LSA program integrates an assessment tool for participants to consider when reviewing their neighborhood association in the areas of community assessment, leadership and resource development, collaboration, partnerships, and networks. The outcome of the program is for participants to develop and present a capacity building plan and strategies for goal attainment for their respective neighborhood association.

Below are resources, tips and opportunities residents and neighborhoods can use to organize and mobilize groups.
