The South Main Rebate Program is available to property owners and tenants interested in rehabilitating commercial and retail properties located within the South Main Business District, which runs from First St. to Warner. The program was created to fund exterior façade and other on-site property improvements that are desired to improve the visual appearance of the building and property. The program comes in the form of a cash rebate to encourage new investment, increase property values, and facilitate deferred or much needed exterior improvements, and to assist tenants and businesses seeking to start up, expand or relocate to the City of Santa Ana. Qualified applicants under this program shall include property owners who have an ownership interest and/or tenants who have a leasehold interest in a commercial property located within this area.
