Announcing the 13th Annual Celebrate Santa Ana, including the presentation of Community Building Awards, Resource EXPO, Most Beautiful Yard, the acknowledgement of the 2010 Neighborhood Heroes and wonderful networking opportunities for Santa Ana’s non-profit and community-based organizations . Mark your calendar – Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Santa Ana Zoo. Reservations for booths at the Resource EXPO are currently being accepted.
Local restaurants will be participating in a Taste of Santa Ana and entertainment wil be provided by the rock band Cheap Date (www.loafstuff.com). Once again the event features free admission, thanks to the generous support of our corporate sponsors and partnership with the Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo. Event presented in partnership with the Steering Committee for the Santa Ana Resource Network.

The Community Development Resource Network has become an extremely positive factor contributing to recent successes achieved in Santa Ana. The Steering Committee, made up of over 25 key agencies and organizations, has been the backbone to our efforts. The Network’s successes include the following: an Internet based Community Calendar of events and bi-weekly e-mail broadcast, development and initial funding of over 90 community based projects for the Grants for Blocks Program, Successful Empowerment Zone Application, and facilitating relationships between corporate sponsors and Santa Ana organizations.
