About the Agency
The Community Development Agency is responsible for providing services in the area of economic development, redevelopment, job training, housing, neighborhood improvement and downtown.
The Agency plans, develops and administers programs to accomplish the public policy goals of the Santa Ana City Council, Community Redevelopment Agency, Santa Ana Housing Authority and Work Force Investment Board. Agency staff also work closely with the Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission. The Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. View upcoming meeting agenda or the most recent agenda.
Other Agency programs include management of Santa Ana's Community Development Block Grant, International Trade Unit and State Enterprise Zone designations. Staff also work under the direction of the Board of Directors of the Santa Ana Federal Empowerment Zone.
The Agency is organized into three divisions and employs a professional staff of 86 full-time and 34 part-time employees.

Administrative Services![]() The Administrative Services Division manages and directs the Agency's efforts, providing responsive financial, budgetary, administrative, clerical and graphic services. This division also administers the CDBG/ESG programs. |
