Background and Experience
Mr. Hodge is an Assistant City Attorney in the Development Services Group. As part of his duties, Mr. Hodge serves as counsel for the Planning and Building Agency, in which he advises these city departments on various legal issues, prepares necessary resolutions and ordinances, and is advisory counsel for the Planning Commission, Zoning Administrator, and Historic Resources Commission, among other tasks.
Prior to joining the City of Santa Ana, Mr. Hodge worked in civil litigation at a private firm in Orange County.

Mr. Hodge is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Court, Central District of California.
Education
Mr. Hodge received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame in 2001, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004.
